Solidarity in Motion

Friends in Solidarity (FiS) is a U.S.-based Catholic nonprofit mobilizing funding, awareness and partnerships for work across South Sudan. Founded to support Solidarity with South Sudan, FiS now works through a growing network of implementing partners expanding access to education, healthcare, pastoral care and trauma healing, nutrition and sustainable livelihoods.

Together, these partners prepare teachers, nurses, midwives, pastoral leaders, women and young people with practical skills and support that continue strengthening their communities for years to come.

Across South Sudan, trained teachers, nurses, midwives, pastoral leaders and community partners are creating lasting opportunities for children and families. Explore the latest results made possible through partnership, generosity and prayer.
