Simone Blanchard

Simone is the director of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) for the Sisters of Bon Secours. In her current role, Simone overseas the international JPIC committee and supports the congregation’s social and environmental justice efforts in Ireland, Great Britain, France, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Peru and the United States. Simone has over 25 years of experience creating and leading poverty alleviation education, advocacy, and direct service programs for local, national, international and faith-based non-profits. She represents the Sisters of Bon Secours on the boards of UNANIMA International and Friends in Solidarity. Simone lives in Mount Airy, Maryland, with her husband and daughter. She enjoys cooking, traveling and being outdoors.
