Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for all that we have been given by our gracious God. We thank God that we live in a nation of peace with access to justice. In Rome on November 23rd, Thanksgiving Day in the US, Pope Francis will be praying for the people of South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The people who live in these countries have long been suffering from the ravages of civil war. They have no peace or justice. Many are either internally displaced or have fled to neighboring countries.
Please remember to join the Pope in praying for peace in these nations.
